“To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.” —E. E. Cummings

The Law of Attraction

All forms of matter and energy are attracted to that which is of a like vibration. Energy attracts like energy. You are a living magnet. Every thought has a frequency and sends out a magnetic energy. Any thought you may have, when combined with emotion, vibrates out from you to the universe and will attract back what you want. What you focus on with your thought and feeling is what you attract into your experience.

Veganism 101: Why Vegan? → fuckyeavegans.tumblr.com

FOR OUR HEALTH The consumption of animal fats and proteins has been linked to heart disease, colon and lung cancer, osteoporosis, diabetes, kidney disease, hypertension, obesity, and a number of other debilitating conditions. Cows’ milk contains ideal amounts of fat and protein for young calves, but far too much for humans. And eggs are higher in cholesterol than any other food, making them a leading contributor to cardiovascular disease. The American Dietetic Association reports that vegetarian/vegan diets are associated with reduced risks for all of these conditions.

FOR THE ENVIRONMENT Animal agriculture takes a devastating toll on the Earth. It is an inefficient way of producing food, since feed for farm animals requires land, water, fertilizer, and other resources that could otherwise have been used directly for producing human food for the world’s starving.

FOR THE ANIMALS Despite the common belief that drinking milk or eating eggs does not kill animals, commercially-raised dairy cows and egg-laying chickens, whether factory-farmed or “free range”, are slaughtered when their production rates decline. The same factory farm methods that are used to produce most meats are also used to produce most milk and eggs. These cows and chickens live their short lives caged, drugged, mutilated, and deprived of their most basic freedoms.

We are all destined to love an imperfect person. Our mission is to fill each other’s emptiness. Love bears with all things. No one can hinder and there is no perfect reason why you love a certain person. That’s love. As the saying goes, “to love is not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.”
